Dalkeith Country Park
Dalkeith Country Park is one of Scotland’s most visited outdoor destinations — 1,000 acres of history, adventure, trails, wellness, and food just minutes from Edinburgh. We built their digital presence in partnership with our sister company Touch, creating a platform that helps visitors discover everything the park has to offer and plan their visit with confidence.

The Challenge
Making the most visited park near Edinburgh easier to explore
Dalkeith Country Park draws visitors from across Edinburgh and beyond — but with so much on offer across such a large estate, the existing digital presence wasn’t doing justice to the breadth of the experience. Attractions were hard to find, events weren’t surfaced clearly, and visitors arriving without a plan often didn’t know where to start.
The park needed a platform that could present everything it offers in a way that felt intuitive and inspiring — and crucially, help people plan their visit before they arrived. That meant rethinking how attractions, events, trails, and facilities were structured, discovered, and presented across the site.
What the site needed to solve
- Poor attraction discovery — visitors couldn't easily find or explore what the park offered
- Events not surfaced — a busy events programme buried or hard to navigate
- Diverse needs, one platform — families, diners, shoppers, and adventure-seekers all served together
